Physical Activity
Physical activity to address burnout has two components, aerobic exercise and anaerobic exercise, which can be practiced at various levels of intensity.
There is evidence that practicing Physical Activity promotes well-being, sleep, physical functioning, cognitive functioning, and mental health. Practicing Physical Activity decreases burnout, stress, anxiety and symptoms of depression.
The resources below will provide you and your team with educational tools for facilitating a session on health promotion using Physical Activity. There are recommendations for multiple types of educational sessions such as a brief 5-minute learning session, a full workshop, or session specific to your team.
